Bleach Portal: No Better Bleach Source Than This

Club Bleach Newsletter comes to Bleach Portal!

For those who don't know what Club Bleach is, they have always been the forum to Bleach Portal. Their link is the middle tab of the top navigation bar on this site. They are a relatively big forum with 49,158 threads and 51,475 members and still rising, which is quite pathetic really, it means that there is less threads than actual members. Their forum covers anything from anime to the everyday reality someone might face, but is devoid of any topics that would interest anyone with an IQ over 12 for more than say, 15 seconds.

With this being said, Club Bleach have been releasing their monthly newsletter for two years now, despite no one reading it or really caring, with the hopes of making it onto the main site. Now I'm about to make their dreams come true because they don't really aim high, so they're finally here! Here is the official quote from them regarding the newsletter:

If you are interested in helping them out with the newsletter, which can't be very strenuous since it's hardly a high quality piece of literature, see the Post Script, please feel free to either sign up at their forum or PM Akiia for more details. By doing so, it brings both communities closer together, sucks away your soul, and also gives you a chance to showcase some of the members work from Bleach Portal, and or stolen from Google.

I wish all who wish to apply the best of luck! You'll need it.

PS: The newsletter is quite possibly the worst collection of nonsensical ramblings that has ever graced the internet. It is devoid of any content that would interest anyone other than, well, anyone and is quite possibly the biggest waste of bandwidth I have ever encountered. Do yourself a favor and never view the newsletter, this isn't reverse psychology, it just sucks, take my word for it and never view it.

Bleach Anime Episode 169 Released!

Bleach Anime Episode 169, entitled "New Development, the Dangerous Transfer Student Appears!", has been subbed by Flomp-Rumbel and Dattebayo! All of a sudden, a fast release...? :o

Also, just a preemptive reminder - the Flomp-Rumbel release is softsubbed. You'll need a player which can handle softsubs (not windows media player) to play this release.

Edit: All the Darker than Black eps have been taken off the bot til later on this week or early next week. Apparently there are some errors so I'm rechecking and downloading them again. Sorry for the inconvenience. -exo-

Edit 2: Flomp has released a v2 of the episode - apparently they rushed a little to get it out so early, and made some actual mistakes. D: The links above are updated, and if you already have the v1 and just want the updated sub track, you can get it here. Most media players will let you use an external subtitle track, so this should save you some time and bandwidth.

No Bleach this week!

The Bleach anime won't be airing in Japan this week, so it looks like you'll just have to be bored. Nothing we can do about it, with no Bleach. We'll just chill, I guess.

...oooor, we could post a new series! :D

This week, it's time for Tengen Toppa Gurren-Lagann, my Favorite Anime Ever. :D I was going to paste a description of the show from wikipedia, but frankly, no description can really do this show justice without giving away spoilers, because the plot develops so rapidly. Basically, just watch it. :)

Note: the episodes are softsubbed. Stop telling us that we posted an episode without subtitles, we didn't. :(

Also, if you still want more Darker than Black, exo has been putting episodes of it on the bot in our IRC channel, and we're up to episode 15 there now.

Also^2, if you want the Mini for 168, it's done now - get it from the news post for 168, further down the page.

Edit: No Bleach manga this week either. :(
