The Bleach Fan Dub projected started long ago over at Bleach Portal's Forum, Club Bleach. Many members there had an idea to try and create a Fan Dub for the Bleach Anime, this was long before the Official Licensing by Viz. After many weeks and months of inaction, with a bit of help from the staff of Bleach Portal, the project finally started moving into reality. The hard work that has gone into this left no other choice but to distribute it via Bleach Portal to honor the work they have put into it.
Before you cry out about how bad dubbing is, or about Fan Dubbing in general due to its bad rep in the community, this Fan Dub has had considerable effort put into it. Although it may not be up to the extreme standard of those million dollar corporations, I find the final result wonderful. You may not like the voices, you may not like dubbing, you may hate this for all eternity but we at Bleach Portal embrace our community and wish to encourage our members in their projects and ideas.
